Course Superintendent's Message

Welcome back to another season at Cataraqui! We are excited to see you all back at the Club and hope you enjoy the improvements we are making for your 2025 season.

We have seen consitent rain throughout April with only one three day stretch without any measureable rain. The property is saturated and any additional rain takes a while to get through the soil profile (hence any areas with standing water, and soft fairways/rough).

The GCEP is underway and the tee decks on #3 have been completed. The target opening date is Friday, June 6th. Paving of the new cart path timing is TBD, but it is useable for the time being.

The bunkers on #1 are under construction and we are anticipating a finishing date of May 13th, but a target opening of Friday, June 6th. The hole location will alter between the regulation green and a temporary green dependent on the day.

#14 and #16 fairway sod is maturing nicely and will be ready for play in the coming days/weeks, once we dry out a little.
